The International Association of Certified Home Inspectors of Canada

We are an association of home inspectors in Albertadedicated to the improvement of our industry and knowledge of our members. It is our aim to ensure our members are constantly improving the knowledge they have of their profession so that their customers receive the finest and most complete inspection possible.

 On September 1, 2011, new regulations to licence Home Inspectors and Home Inspection Businesses came into effect in Alberta.

 Under these new rules all home inspectors operating in Albertawere required to meet certain criteria set out by the Albertagovernment . 

 All of the members of our association have met or exceeded those requirements and are fully licenced.

Our association has also set up a training program designed to ensure new inspectors coming into our profession are able to meet the government’s requirements for licencing by the time they have earned their “Certified Canadian Home Inspector” (CCHI) designation.
